North by Friday is my design studio, an evolving practice shaped by experience, study, and a deep respect for how spaces function in real life.

I’m Jessica, an interior architecture student currently taking on decorating projects and consulting work while finishing my degree. Before design, I spent my career in global health communications, where I learned to think strategically, listen carefully, and design solutions that serve people first.

That background informs everything I do. I believe form should follow function, and that the most beautiful spaces are the ones that work effortlessly for the people who live in them. My perspective has been shaped by living and traveling across the East, West, and now the ‘Third’ Coast, each place influencing how I think about space, light, and livability.

At its core, North by Friday is about creating thoughtful interiors that feel grounded, personal, and quietly enduring.
